Study on the Influence of Rural Highway Landscape Green Vision Rate on Driving Load Based on Factor Analysis.

Sensors (Basel)

January 2025

School of Civil Engineering Architecture and the Environment, Hubei University of Technology, Wuhan 430068, China.

The green vision rate of rural highway greening landscape is a key factor affecting the driver's visual load. Based on this, this paper uses the eye tracking method to study the visual characteristics of drivers in different green vision environments on rural highways in Xianning County. Based on the HSV color space model, this paper obtains four sections of rural highway with a green vision rate of 10~20%, green vision rate of 20~30%, green vision rate of 30~40%, and green vision rate of 40~50%.

Asymmetric dopaminergic degeneration of the striatum is a characteristic feature of Parkinson's disease, associated with right-left asymmetry in motor function. As such, studying asymmetry provides insights into progressive neurodegeneration between cerebral hemispheres. Given the impact of Lewy pathology on various neurotransmitter systems beyond the dopaminergic, it may be that other neuronal systems in the predominantly affected hemisphere are similarly affected.

Purpose: To investigate the effect of tamsulosin on iris morphology, ciliary muscle thickness (CMT), pupil diameter (PD), and pupil responses to light using anterior segment optical coherence tomography and corneal topography.

Design: Prospective clinical before-and-after study METHODS: The right eyes of 43 patients with newly diagnosed benign prostatic hyperplasia were included in this study. Iris dilator muscle region (DMR) thickness, sphincter muscle region (SMR) thickness, DMR/SMR ratio, PD (scotopic, mesopic and photopic light conditions), CMT1 (1 mm posterior to the scleral spur), CMT2 (2 mm posterior to the scleral spur), CMT3 (3 mm posterior to the scleral spur) and anterior chamber depth (ACD) were measured before and after dilation.

Response inhibition is key to flexible behavior. Importantly, performance in any task, including response inhibition tasks, fluctuates on a moment-to-moment basis. Using pupillometry, we investigated the relationship between these behavioral fluctuations in response inhibition and naturally occurring fluctuations of norepinephrine (NE) levels in the brain before a given trial has even started.

Clinical Relevance: Myopia control is a prominent area of global research, with multifocal contact lenses identified as an effective intervention for adolescents.

Background: This study aims to evaluate the visual performance and vision-related quality of life (QoL) of myopic adolescents when corrected with pupil-optimised multifocal soft contact lenses (MFSCLs) versus single-vision contact lenses (SVCLs), with each participant serving as their own control.

Methods: Thirty-five myopic adolescents, habitually wearing SVCLs and fitted with pupil-optimised MFSCL with mid-addition power, were recruited.
