Objective: Aim: The objective of this literature review was to determine the optimal diagnostic algorithm for breast cancer detection associated with architectural distortion.
Patients And Methods: Materials and Methods: The Pubmed, Google Scholar, Web of Science, and Scopus databases was used to search for materials on architectural distortion, associated pathologies, and radiological imaging methods.
Conclusion: Conclusions: Architectural distortions may represent both benign and malignant pathology, but ultrasound, magnetic resonance, and roentgenological signs may not always with conf i dence determine the etiology of these changes.

Substantial new data on early detection of lung cancer with low-dose CT has become available since the last joint statement of the German Roentgenological Society and the German Respiratory Society was published in 2011. The German S3 guideline on lung cancer was revised in 2018 and now contains a weak recommendation towards early detection of lung cancer with low-dose CT in a quality-assured early detection program. These new developments required a repositioning of the involved professional societies.

IgG4-related sclerosing disease of the larynx (IgG4-SD) is a recently described immunodependent systemic pathology characterized by diffusive or focal inflammatory infiltration of the affected organs and tissues by plasma cells expressing IgG4; it is accompanied by the subsequent development of obliterative phlebitis and fibrosclerosis associated with the increase of the serum IgG4 level. According to the recently published materials, the disease can also develop in the respiratory system. The present article describes the first documented case of IgG4-related sclerosing disease with the isolated lesion of the larynx.

Unlabelled: Measurement of internal thoracic impedance (ITI) is sensitive and accurate in detecting acute pulmonary edema even at its preclinical stage. We evaluated the suitability of the highly sensitive and noninvasive RS-207 monitor for detecting pleural effusion and for demonstrating increased ITI during its resolution. This prospective controlled study was performed in a single department of internal medicine of a university-affiliated hospital between 2012-2013.

The total radiation dose varied from 9.6 Gy to 120 Gy per unit area during 5-8 weeks.
