Objective: Lymphoma is a heterogenous group of malignant tumours with proliferation of lymphoid cells or their precursors. Lymphomas in the head and neck region are usually found in Waldeyer's ring. Intraoral lymphomas are rare and the clinical presentation and roentgenological appearance may resemble other and benign conditions, entailing a risk for diagnostic delay.

Objectives: To present 35 cases of laryngeal foreign bodies (FBs) in pediatric population undergoing misdiagnosis so as to draw on our lessons to improve early diagnosis.
Methods: A retrospective analysis over 15 years was conducted of 35 cases of laryngeal FBs undergoing misdiagnosis in children. Meanwhile, a control group, including 42 cases of laryngeal FBs without misdiagnosis in children, was set.

The objective of the present study was to clarify the characteristic pathognomonic features of middle ear lesions associated with tuberculosis and the approaches to their diagnostics under the present-day conditions. The study included 11 cases (18 ears) of tuberculosis otitis media and the related lesions of the mastoid process diagnosed with the use of clinical, roentgenological, cytological, bacteriological, pathomorphological, and molecular-genetic methods (including PCR diagnostics). The primary localization of tuberculosis in the middle ear was documented in 6 patients; in 5 patients, it was associated with pulmonary involvement.

The objective of the present study was to determine the prevalence of mucositis and its roentgenological manifestations in the patients presenting with chronic suppurative otitis media (CSOM). A total of 390 patients with CSOM (mesotympanitis) and 85 ones suffering CSOM with concomitant mucositis were available for the observation. The signs of mucositis were evaluated based on the patients' complaints, results of otomicroscopy, and computed tomography (CT) of the temporal bones.

Under progress of disease remodeling of the lung tissue occurs and at 20-25% of patient with sarcoidosis lung fibrosis is developed. We studied biopsies from 50 patients with sarcoidosis and 10 biopsies of pathological intact lung tissue as a control group.
