Background: Current research on digital applications to support the mental health and well-being of foster youth is limited to theoretical applications for transition-aged foster youth and support platforms developed without intentional input from foster youth themselves. Centering the lived expertise of foster youth in digital solutions is crucial to dismantling barriers to care, leading to an increase in service access and improving mental health outcomes. Co-design centers the intended end users during the design process, creating a direct relationship between potential users and developers.

This study describes the process of developing a high-impact, low-cost, and low-maintenance air ventilation system for anatomy facilities. It employed the strategic application of Value Engineering (VE), assuring that the air ventilation system meets contemporary threshold limit values (TLVs) for formaldehyde in the working zone of dissection tables. A creative-innovative construction methodology was used, combining the Theory of Inventive Problem Solving (TRIZ/TIPS) and VE for an anatomy laboratory air ventilation concept.

Proteins that selectively bind to a target of interest are foundational components of research pipelines , diagnostics , and therapeutics . Current immunization-based , display- based , and computational approaches for discovering binders are laborious and time- consuming - taking months or more, suffer from high false positives - necessitating extensive secondary screening, and have a high failure rate, especially for disordered proteins and other challenging target classes. Here we establish Phage-Assisted Non-Continuous Selection of Protein Binders (PANCS-binders), an selection platform that links the life cycle of M13 phage to target protein binding though customized proximity-dependent split RNA polymerase biosensors, allowing for complete and comprehensive high-throughput screening of billion-plus member protein variant libraries with high signal-to-noise.

Introduction: Evidence suggests that social prescribing might have a positive impact on identity, control, creativity and quality of life in people with dementia. While evidence on the benefits of social prescribing is accumulating, there is a sparsity of research on the experiences of social prescribers. This study aims to identify the challenges that social prescribers face when supporting people with dementia and their families and strategies to address these.

Unlabelled: The increased rate of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tears has led to a greater number of revisions. Revision surgery can be performed in one or two stages. Single-stage revision ACL reconstruction (ssRACLR) may be performed when prior tunnels can be re-used or bypassed whereas a two-stage procedure is indicated when bone grafting of dilated tunnels prior to revision is necessary.
