Background: Bacterial resistance to antibiotics has increased in recent years. Resistance to -lactams in Gram-negative bacteria has been reported to be associated with extended spectrum beta-lactamases and metallo-beta-lactamases. This study was aimed at determining the distribution and antibiotic susceptibility patterns of Gram-negative pathogens producing extended spectrum beta lactamases and metallo-beta lactamases.

Introduction: is the most commonly isolated species in both community and healthcare-associated infections. Our study's purpose was to determine the rates of antibiotic resistance of isolates in hospital and community populations, track the kinetics of resistance rates of isolates to major antibiotics, particularly those prescribed for urinary tract infections and study the occurrence and evolution of multi-resistant phenotypes.
Methods: We conducted a retrospective study at the Bacteriological Department of the Mohammed V Military Hospital of Instruction, over a period of 7 years.
The purpose of the work is to evaluate the cultural and morphological properties of colonies of clinically significant corynebacteria on culture mediums for the isolation of corynebacteria. The study used 9 culture mediums for the isolation of corynebacteria: a culture medium for the isolation of corynebacteria (Corynebacagar); Tellurite-containing blood agars on base - Culture medium № 1 GRM, Culture agar for the cultivation of microorganisms (GRM agar), Culture medium for determining the sensitivity of microorganisms to antibacterial preparations - AGV, culture agar for the cultivation of dry microorganisms (SPA), Clauberg medium II, Hoyle Medium agar (Oxoid), Blood agar base (Conda), Columbia Agar Base (Conda). The work used 7 test strains of microorganisms from the State collections of pathogenic microorganisms - C.

Cells cultured as monolayers proliferate well, but do not sustain their differentiation characteristics. Previous studies have investigated the interactions between cells and growth factors or cytokines by establishing either in vivo or in vitro three-dimensional (3D) cultures. Using porcine uterine epithelial cells and endometrial cells, the current study was designed to develop a 3D uterine culture system and investigate the response to hormone treatment.

The purposes of this study were to determine phenotypic and genotypic characteristics of Brucella isolates from the Republic of Kazakhstan and to determine their biotype. The focus was laid on culture-morphological, biochemical, and biological properties of 59 Brucella isolates from primary cultures. Material was isolated from blood and tissue of serum-positive killed, dead diseased, or aborted domestic cattle from different regions of Kazakhstan where brucellosis is a common problem.
