Dosage forms containing Ivermectin (IVER) and Praziquantel (PRAZ) are important combination drug products in animal health. Understanding the relationship between products with differing in vitro release characteristics and bioequivalence could facilitate generics. The goal of this study was to create granulations for each active ingredient, with similar release mechanisms, but substantially different in vitro release rates, and then compressing these granulations into tablets with differing release rates.

Proper waste management and sustainable energy production are crucial for human development. For this purpose, this study evaluates the impact of blending percentage on energy recovery potential and environmental benefits of co-combustion of wastewater sludge and Brazilian low-rank coal. The sludge and coal were characterised in terms of their potential as fuel and co-combustion tests were carried out in a pilot-scale bubbling fluidised bed focused on the influence of the percentage of sludge mixture on the behaviour of co-combustion with coal in terms of flue gas composition and fluidised bed temperature stability.

Pre-mixed fluidized solidified soil (PFSS) has the advantages of pumpability, convenient construction, and a short setting time. This paper took the excavated loess in Fuzhou as the research object and used cement-fly-ash-ground granulated blast furnace slag-carbide slag as a composite geopolymer system (CFGC) to synthesize PFSS. This study investigated the fluidity and mechanical strength of PFSS under different water-solid ratios and curing agent dosages; finally, the microstructure of the composite geopolymer system-pre-mixed fluidized solidified soil (CFGC-PFSS) was characterized.

One of the most common forms of controlled release technology for oral drug delivery comprises an active ingredient dispersed in a hydrophilic matrix forming polymer such as hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC), which is tableted via direct compression. However, HPMC may pose problems in direct compression due to its poor flowability. Hence, mannitol syrup was spray-coated over fluidized HPMC particles to produce co-processed HPMC-mannitol at ratios of 20:80, 50:50, and 70:30.

A drug-resin liquid delayed-release suspension of pantoprazole sodium (PAZ-Na) was prepared to improve the effectiveness, convenience and safety of peptic ulcer treatment in children, the elderly and patients with dysphagia. Pantoprazole sodium drug-resin complexes (PAZ-Na-DRC) were prepared using the bath method. The fluidized bed coating method is used to coat it and then add excipients to make a dry suspension prepared before use.
