Background/objectives: The educational system thinking approach (ST) takes a holistic vision of instructors/teachers and learners' relationships, making sports pivotal for reflection on education. This study evaluated the efficacy of a multisport ST-based course on minirugby instructors' teaching competence and children players' motor conduct.
Methods: The twenty-five rugby instructors (IAC) attended the 25 h course and the children of their teams (n = 109, Ch-IAC) participated in this study as experimental groups.

Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) and obesity are critical global health issues with rising incidence rates. Glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) analogues have emerged as effective treatments due to their ability to regulate blood glucose levels and gastric emptying through central nervous signals involving hypothalamic receptors, such as leptin. To address the short plasma half-life of native GLP-1, a C-16 fatty acid was conjugated to lysine in the GLP-1 analogue sequence to enhance its longevity.

Metabolic inhibitors are known to exhibit complex interactions with antibiotics in bacteria, potentially acting as antagonists by inducing cell dormancy and promoting cell survival. However, the specific synergistic or antagonistic effects of these inhibitors depend on factors like their mechanisms of action, concentrations, and treatment timings, which require further investigation. In our study, we systematically explored the synergistic interactions of various metabolic inhibitors-such as chloramphenicol (a translation inhibitor), rifampicin (a transcription inhibitor), arsenate (an ATP production inhibitor), and thioridazine (a PMF inhibitor)-in combination with ofloxacin.

Background: Sepsis-induced acute lung injury (ALI) accounts for about 40% of ALI, accompanied by alveolar epithelial injury. The study aimed to reveal the role of circular RNA_0114428 (circ_0114428) in sepsis-induced ALI.
Methods: Human pulmonary alveolar epithelial cells (HPAEpiCs) were treated with lipopolysaccharide (LPS) to mimic a sepsis-induced ALI cell model.
