Deep venous thrombosis (DVT) has insidious clinical symptoms, and only a few patients suffer from lower limb swelling, tenderness and dorsal flexion pain. We aimed to explore the ultrasonographic features and risk factors of postoperative lower limb DVT in patients with lower limb fractures. Ninety patients with lower limb fractures admitted from January 1st, 2021 to June 30th, 2023 were selected.

In hepatic flexure and transverse colon cancer surgeries, mobilizing the right mesocolon and precisely dissecting the gastrocolic trunk of Henle (GTH) are crucial. Previous classifications of GTH tributaries do not guide radical right hemicolectomy due to post-procedural anatomical acquisition. This study analyzed vessel associations, including the middle colic vein (MCV) converging site, right colic artery (RCA) presence, and other GTH tributaries, using ultra-thin CT for reconstruction.

A 25-year-old female presented with a congenital painless growing mass on the right side of her neck with symptoms of tinnitus and difficulty breathing. Imaging revealed an aneurysm of the internal jugular vein reaching a maximum diameter of 9.2 cm, shifting the trachea and right thyroid lobe to the left side.

Background: The role of iliac vein stenosis (IVS) in the development of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is poorly understood. This study determines the incidence of IVS in patients diagnosed with DVT and assesses its impact on presentation and outcomes. Our hypothesis is that the presence of IVS increases the risk of long-term ipsilateral DVT recurrence.

Chronic pelvic pain may cause a significant reduction in the quality of life for affected women, and the extent of the limitation is often underestimated. Chronic pain can lead to lifelong problems. Currently, PCS is probably significantly underdiagnosed as a cause of chronic pelvic pain in women.
