Introduction: Considering the globally growing population and the rising incidence of dementia, it is important to understand the proportion of dementia cases affected by vascular brain disease. We aimed to study the incidence of vascular dementia (VD) and other dementias in a defined population in Finland to better understand VD's contribution to the total incidence of dementias and to assess the sensitivity of their diagnostics.

Methods: In total, 137 586 samples from the period 2019-2023 were collected from the five main Danish laboratories performing TDM. A previously described algorithm developed to exclude abnormal TDM results from patient data was applied.

Azoxystrobin is a widely used fungicide belonging to the strobilurin group, primarily employed to control a range of fungal diseases in crops, including pepper (Capsicum annuum L.). As a systemic pesticide, it effectively inhibits mitochondrial respiration in fungi, thereby preventing their growth and spread.

This study aimed to document the 20-year hospitalisation rates for hip fractures at a tertiary hospital and compare the prevalence and demographics between the two types of hip fractures.
Materials And Methods: This retrospective study examined the electronic records of patients admitted for hip fractures at our hospital from January 2004 to August 2023, utilising the 10th revision of the International Classification of Diseases codes.
