Collapsing glomerulopathy (CG) has a severe course typically associated with viral infections, especially HIV and parvovirus B19, systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), among other etiologies. A 35-year-old woman with recent use of a JAK inhibitor due to rheumatoid arthritis presented with a 2-week history of fever, cervical adenopathy, and facial erythema. After admission, anemia, hypoalbuminemia, proteinuria, and severe acute kidney injury were noted.

Immunoglobulin G4-related disease (IgG4-RD) and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) are multisystemic autoimmune disorders that can present with renal manifestations. Overlapping cases of these diseases are extremely rare and present both diagnostic and therapeutic challenges. We report the case of a 70-year-old male with a history of autoimmune pancreatitis, who was admitted with fatigue, weight loss, and worsening kidney function.

Background: Subclinical vitamin D insufficiency is frequent in both developing and developed countries. Even after rickets was eliminated in the 1930s by fortifying milk, up to 1 billion people worldwide suffer from subclinical vitamin D deficiency (VDD). Numerous noncommunicable diseases (NCDs), including depression, autoimmune illnesses, diabetes, osteoporosis, and cardiovascular disease, are linked to this deficiency.

Introduction: We present a literature review on the clinical conundrums surrounding the differential diagnosis of restless legs syndrome (RLS, Willis-Ekbom disease), as well as conditions that can mimic RLS. An extensive literature search showed that secondary causes of RLS ranged from commonly recognized causes, such as iron deficiency anemia, to less widely noted causes, such as rheumatoid disorders and hypothyroidism. There is a controversial association with Parkinson's disease, essential tremor, and RLS, whereby RLS is proposed as a prodromal feature.
