Background: The rapid advancement of medical technologies presents significant challenges for researchers and practitioners. While traditional clinical trials remain the gold standard, they are often limited by high costs, lengthy durations, and ethical constraints. In contrast, in-silico trials and digital twins have emerged not only as efficient and ethical alternatives but also as a complementary technology that can extend beyond classical trials to predict and design new strategies.

The redox properties of quinones underlie their unique characteristics as organic battery components that outperform the conventional inorganic ones. Furthermore, these redox properties could be precisely tuned by using different substituent groups. Machine learning and statistics, on the other hand, have proven to be very powerful approaches for the efficient in silico design of novel materials.

Objective: To derive reference distributions of estimated fetal weight (EFW) in twins relative to singletons.
Methods: Gestational-age- and chorionicity-specific reference distributions for singleton percentiles and EFW were fitted to data on 4391 twin pregnancies with two liveborn fetuses from four European centers, including 3323 dichorionic (DC) and 1068 monochorionic diamniotic (MCDA) twin pregnancies. Gestational age was derived using the larger of the two crown-rump length measurements obtained during the first trimester of pregnancy.

Objectives: Early diagnosis of childhood growth disorders, their timely and proper treatment are important for better outcomes. The aim of the present study was to assess the results of the first 18 months of the growth disorders related twinning programme "Partners4Growth" implemented at all tertiary university pediatric endocrinology clinics in Bulgaria.
Methods: In 2019, Partners4Growth started operation at 7 centres (4 experienced and 3 twin centres) with the main aim of aligning their practices in the shortest possible time.
Key Clinical Message: Empty sella syndrome is a complex syndrome with a diverse clinical presentation. The combination with functional hypogonadotropic hypogonadism is a real challenge for the clinician. Mutations in the CHD7 gene could be a possible, yet unproven, cause of "empty sella" syndrome.
