Background: Optimal perioperative pain management is unknown for adolescent patients undergoing anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (ACLR). The study aimed to determine the association of nerve blocks with short- and long-term pain outcomes and factors influencing self-reported neurological symptoms.
Methods: We performed a multisite, prospective observational study of adolescent patients undergoing ACLR.
Riga-Fede disease (RFD) is a rare, benign condition marked by traumatic ulceration on the tongue's ventral side in infants. It arises from friction between the tongue and lower incisors during sucking, potentially worsening into a keratinized lesion if the cause is not addressed. This report details the case of a 1-year-6-month-old male with hydrocephalus, cleft palate, corpus callosum dysgenesis, neuropsychomotor developmental delay, and tracheostomy and gastrostomy needs.

Introduction: A main feature of CDH is lung hypoplasia and the related presentation of pulmonary hypertension and cardiac dysfunction. Multiple factors influence pulmonary status after CDH: degree of hypoplasia, ventilator-induced injury, altered growth and development of pulmonary structures, reduced diaphragm function and chest wall abnormalities. The evolution of pulmonary sequela in this population is still unclear.
