: Lateral elbow tendinopathy is a common condition that significantly alters the function of the upper extremities. In case of first-line treatment failure, different local injections are usually used. Due to the lack of sufficient evidence to support it, we conducted the study to compare the outcomes of different single injections, including Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP), Corticosteroids (CS), Hyaluronic Acid (HA), and placebo (saline).

However, reports on VSA following the administration of corticosteroids are scarce. Herein, we present the rare case of a 49-year-old Japanese man who developed VSA while receiving corticosteroids for treatment of autoimmune hepatitis.

Introduction: The diagnosis of asthma is often based on characteristic patterns of symptoms in the absence of an alternative explanation, resulting in over and under diagnosis. Therefore, diagnostic guidelines usually recommend including confirmation of variable airflow obstruction. Some recommend using a sequence of objective tests; however the tests used, the specific cut-off values and the specified order are yet to be validated.
