A type 2 endoleak (EL2) remains the most prevalent complication of endovascular aortic repair (EVAR) for an abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA). We conducted a retrospective, single-center analysis, including patients who underwent embolization for an isolated EL2 after EVAR. The study population was stratified into two groups: Group A, consisting of patients whose EL2 resolved after the first embolization procedure, and Group B, consisting of those with refractory EL2 (rEL2).

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) causes persistent synovitis and arthritis, resulting in joint deformity and destruction throughout the body. As RA medications have evolved over the past 30 years, the surgical indications and techniques for RA joint deformities have changed. The aim of this review article is to summarize the recent trend of surgery for rheumatoid hand/finger deformities in previous reports and to present our recent surgical methods and outcomes for these deformities.

The abiotic stresses to which plants are exposed, especially in times of climate change, can result in the disruption of natural plant physiological processes. Sudden atmospheric phenomena may increase the risk of failure in protecting rare and extinction-threatened plant species by translocation. This study aimed to determine the effect of extreme ambient temperatures on the condition and physiological response of plantlets used for their reintroduction into the natural habitat.
