Phosphorus (P) movement in soils is influenced by flow velocities, diffusion rates, and several soil characteristics and properties. In acidic soils, P is tightly bound to soil particles, reducing its availability to plants. Organomineral fertilizers combine organic matter with mineral nutrients, enhancing P fertilization efficiency, and reducing environmental impacts.

The Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH) method is expanding and applied to more and more fields, particularly in engineering. The majority of current SPH developments deal with free-surface and multiphase flows, especially for situations where geometrically complex interface configurations are involved. The present review article covers the last 25 years of development of the method to simulate such flows, discussing the related specific features of the method.

The current investigation explores tri-hybrid mediated blood flow through a ciliary annular model, designed to emulate an endoscopic environment. The human circulatory system, driven by the metachronal ciliary waves, is examined in this study to understand how ternary nanoparticles influence wave-like flow dynamics in the presence of interfacial nanolayers. We also analyze the effect of an induced magnetic field on Ag-Cu-/blood flow within the annulus, focusing on thermal radiation, heat sources, buoyancy forces and ciliary motion.

Background: In Alzheimer's disease (AD), a major gap remains in the understanding of how the interplay between peripheral and central immune systems drives neuroinflammation and disease progression. More recently, the concept of brain lymph drainage has sparked interest as it may shed light on how the dynamics of T cell interactions contribute to AD. Our preliminary study aims to characterize alterations in the peripheral blood lymphocyte population among individuals with AD-dementia and mild cognitive impairment (MCI), as compared with cognitively unimpaired (CU) individuals.

Background: The brain's ability to perform a cognitive task is a dynamic process and requires small blood vessels to dilate or constrict in real time to adjust blood flow in a region-specific manner. Cerebrovascular Reactivity (CVR) measures the ability of vessels to react to vasoactive challenges. In this work, we investigated the role of CVR as a possible biomarker in small vessel disease related vascular contributions to cognitive impairment and dementia (VCID), as part of the NINDS-funded MarkVCID study.
