The rise of adult content creation platforms is triggering a deep revision of the social acceptability of new habits and the relations between the human body and marketing practices. However, academic research on this phenomenon is still scarce. This scoping review aimed to summarize and discuss the studies about content creators sharing adult content on subscription-based digital platforms.

Dietary restriction (DR) is widely considered to be one of the most potent approaches to extend healthy lifespan across various species, yet it has become increasingly apparent that DR-mediated longevity is influenced by biological and non-biological factors. We propose that current priorities in the field should include understanding the relative contributions of these factors to elucidate the mechanisms underlying the beneficial effects of DR. Our work conducted in two laboratories represents an attempt to unify DR protocols in Drosophila and to investigate the stochastic effects of DR.

Advanced Bismuth-Based Anode Materials for Efficient Potassium Storage: Structural Features, Storage Mechanisms and Modification Strategies.

Nanomicro Lett

January 2025

Department of Materials Science and Engineering, College of Chemistry and Materials Science, Jinan University, Guangzhou, 510632, People's Republic of China.

Potassium-ion batteries (PIBs) are considered as a promising energy storage system owing to its abundant potassium resources. As an important part of the battery composition, anode materials play a vital role in the future development of PIBs. Bismuth-based anode materials demonstrate great potential for storing potassium ions (K) due to their layered structure, high theoretical capacity based on the alloying reaction mechanism, and safe operating voltage.

Purpose Of Review: Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are persistent chemicals with many modern applications, leading to widespread contamination and universal human exposure. PFAS exposure during early life is of particular concern, given susceptibility of the developing fetal and infant brain to toxic exposures. This review aims to synthesize current evidence, discuss methodological challenges, and highlight research gaps to guide future studies on the impact of PFAS on neurodevelopment.

Nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) is a distinctive epithelial cancer closely associated with Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV) infection, posing significant challenges in diagnosis and treatment due to its resistance to conventional therapies and high recurrence rates. Current therapies, including radiotherapy and chemotherapy, exhibit limited efficacy, particularly in recurrent or metastatic cases, highlighting the urgent need for novel therapeutic strategies. Targeting EBV oncoproteins, such as Epstein-Barr Virus encoded Nuclear Antigen 1 (EBNA1), Latent Membrane Protein 1 (LMP1), and Latent Membrane Protein 2 (LMP2), presents a promising therapeutic avenue in NPC treatment.
