This study systematically explores the oncogenic role of the long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) LINC00115 in endometrial cancer (EC) and reveals its unique mechanism in promoting proliferation, invasion, and metastasis via the JAK/STAT signaling pathway. LINC00115 is significantly upregulated in EC tissues and closely associated with advanced TNM staging and lymph node metastasis. Functional assays showed that knockdown of LINC00115 suppressed EC cell proliferation, invasion, and metastasis, while overexpression enhanced these malignant behaviors.

Background: Soft tissue specifications and facial values vary depending on the underlying skeletal structures. To achieve the ideal treatment result and patient satisfaction, one must know the attractive soft tissue specifications compatible with each type of malocclusion. This study aims to analyze the facial measurements that contribute to perceived facial attractiveness in patients with vertical growth patterns and skeletal class I malocclusion, focusing on gender-specific differences.

Substances containing microbes-associated molecular patterns (MAMPs) and damage-associated molecular patterns (DAMPs) are representative inducers of pathogen resistance and damage repair, thus treatment of healthy plants with such substances can pre-activate plant immunity and cell repair functions. In this study, the effects of DAMP/MAMP oligosaccharides mixture (Oligo-Mix) derived from plant cell wall (cello-oligosaccharide and xylo-oligosaccharide), and fungal cell wall (chitin-oligosaccharide) were examined in cucumber.

Background: Emotional eating (EE) is a barrier to the long-term success of weight loss interventions. Psychological interventions targeting EE have been shown to reduce EE scores and weight (kg), though the mechanisms remain unclear. This review and meta-analysis aimed to identify the specific behaviour change techniques (BCTs) associated with improved outcomes.

Unraveling the mechanisms behind plant growth and immunity contributes to effective crop improvement. Membrane attack complex/perforin (MACPF) domain proteins play vital roles in innate and adaptive immunity in vertebrates; however, their molecular functions in plants remain largely unexplored. Here, we isolated and characterized a rice mutant, Oryza sativa constitutively activated cell death 1 (oscad1), which exhibited a lesion mimic phenotype and growth inhibition with increased cell death, elevated ROS accumulation, and enhanced resistance to bacterial blight Xanthomonas oryzae pv.
