In image-guided radiotherapy (IGRT), four-dimensional cone-beam computed tomography (4D-CBCT) is critical for assessing tumor motion during a patients breathing cycle prior to beam delivery. However, generating 4D-CBCT images with sufficient quality requires significantly more projection images than a standard 3D-CBCT scan, leading to extended scanning times and increased imaging dose to the patient. To address these limitations, there is a strong demand for methods capable of reconstructing high-quality 4D-CBCT images from a 1-minute 3D-CBCT acquisition.

Background: Growing evidence indicates that disruptions in mitochondrial quality management contribute to the development of acute kidney injury (AKI), incomplete or maladaptive kidney repair, and chronic kidney disease. However, the temporal dynamics of mitochondrial quality control alterations in relation to renal injury and its recovery remain poorly understood and are addressed in this manuscript.

Method: ology: Male Wistar rats (n = 60) were subjected to varying durations of ischemia and reperfusion.

Human activities have significantly altered coastal ecosystems worldwide. The phenomenon of shifting baselines syndrome (SBS) complicates our understanding of these changes, masking the true scale of human impacts. This study investigates the long-term ecological effects of anthropogenic activities on New Zealand's coastal ecosystems over 800 years using fish otolith microchemical profiling and dynamic time warping across an entire stock unit.

Tartary buckwheat (Fagopyrum tataricum), a functional grain known for its medicinal and nutritional properties, has garnered significant attention due to its high flavonoid content and unique health benefits. Heat stress during the flowering stage can lead to sterility in Tartary buckwheat, resulting in reduced yields. This study investigates the effects of a treatment (30/27 °C for 7 days) on flower development, fertility, stress physiology, and gene expression in Tartary buckwheat, while also validating the efficacy of hormone treatments in alleviating the negative effects of heat stress.
