Purpose: To retrieve, evaluate, and summarize the best available evidence regarding the safe use of pneumatic tourniquet in patients undergoing Limb surgery, providing guidance for preoperative assessment, operation methods and precautions, complication prevention and treatment in clinical practice.

Methods: Using the PIPOST tool, we formulated an evidence-based question, conducted searches in relevant Chinese and international databases and websites for clinical decisions, guidelines, evidence summaries, systematic reviews, and expert consensus on the use of limb surgical tourniquets. The search was limited to literature published until September 30, 2023.

Background: To report real-world outcomes of patients with primary Reghmatogenous Retinal Detachment (RRD) treated with Pneumatic Retinopexy (PnR) according to the indications of the Pneumatic Retinopexy versus Vitrectomy for management of Primary Rhegmatogenous Retinal Detachment Outcomes Randomized Trial (PIVOT) trial.

Methods: Multicenter, retrospective study. Patients treated with PnR for RRD between 2021 and 2023 and a follow-up of at least 6 months were included.

Full-thickness macular holes (FTMH) usually result in a pronounced reduction of visual acuity and represent one of the most frequent indications for retinal surgery. If diagnosed and treatment is initiated at an early stage, surgery has a high success rate with respect to both hole closure and improvement of visual acuity. Optical coherence tomography (OCT)-based staging and sizing enables an estimation of the surgical outcome.

Aim: To improve treatment outcomes in patients with ureteral stones by optimizing the use of noninvasive and minimally invasive techniques.

Material And Methods: A prospective analysis of 186 patients with ureteral stones who were treated at the "RSSPMCU" in the period from July 2020 to April 2023 was carried out. Among them, 84 were undergone to electromagnetic extracorporeal shock-wave lithotripsy (ESWL) using the Storz Modulith SLX-F2 device (Switzerland).

Background: The Tactical Pneumatic Tournqiuet 2" (TPT2, 5.1cm-wide deflated) allows total average applied pressure measurement, which should be useful toward development of emergency-use limb tourniquet certification devices.

Methods: The TPT2 hand bulb was replaced with stopcocks and syringes, allowing filling with continuous pressure measurement.
