The Nozaki-Hiyama-Kishi reaction offers effective and reliable strategies for the preparation of alcohols via carbon-carbon bond formation. Typical methods usually require stoichiometric amounts of chromium salts, co-transition metals, and auxiliary reagents, which limits their practical application in industrial chemistry. To mitigate these limitations, substantial efforts have been made to develop chromium-catalytic approaches.

The need for standardized criteria in partner and child maltreatment response systems is critical for providing fair decisions, allocating family support, producing reliable research findings, and aiding prevention efforts, among other tasks. The primary goal of this study was to replicate Heyman and Slep's (see record 2009-23534-017) study-whether maltreatment incident determination committee decisions of local sites matched those of master reviewers. This study extended the prior work by testing if specific training techniques (i.

Screening for inborn metabolic disorders (IMDs) in newborns is an important way to prevent serious metabolic and developmental difficulties that can result in lasting disabilities or even death. Electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS) provides an efficacious newborn blood spot screening (NBS) mechanism for analyzing dried blood spot specimens (DBSs) for biochemical markers for these conditions. Where possible, the elimination of derivatization in specimen preparation can simplify and streamline analysis.

Primary progressive aphasia (PPA) is a clinical syndrome characterized by a progressive deterioration in language and speech. It is classified into three variants based on symptom patterns: logopenic, semantic, and non-fluent. Due to the lack of fully reliable and valid screening tests for diagnosing PPA and its variants, a Spanish version of the Mini Linguistic State Examination (MLSE) has recently been introduced.

Background: Branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) are widely used as sports nutrition supplements. However, their impact on the rate of force development (RFD), an indicator of explosive muscle strength, has not yet been validated. This study aimed to assess the impact of BCAA supplementation on the RFD in college basketball players during simulated games.
