The rise in antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in underscores the urgent need for alternative treatments. This study evaluated the minimal inhibitory concentrations (MICs) of four metal ions (cobalt, copper, silver, and zinc) and colloidal silver against 15 clinical isolates, alongside conventional antimicrobials (florfenicol, tetracycline, tulathromycin, and tylosin). Colloidal silver demonstrated the most effective antimicrobial activity, inhibiting 81.

Preterm infants are at high risk of developing respiratory distress syndrome (RDS). Mutations in the genes encoding for surfactant proteins B and C or the ATP-binding cassette transporter A3 (ABCA3) are rare but known to be associated with severe RDS and interstitial lung diseases. The exact prevalence of these mutations in the general population is difficult to determine, as they are usually studied in connection with clinical symptoms.

Introduction: (MG) infection is a primary cause of chronic respiratory disease in poultry, threatening the economic viability of China's goose-farming industry. This study investigated the pathogenicity and drug resistance of an MG strain isolated from geese and whole-genome sequenced the strain.
Material And Methods: A strain designated MG-GD01/22 was isolated from the air-sac tissues of five geese with chronic respiratory disease on a Guangdong goose farm.

(MS) is an important pathogen that can cause respiratory diseases in poultry and birds, leading to serious economic losses in the world and impacting the development of the poultry industry. However, the pathogenic mechanisms of MS infection are still unclear, resulting in a lack of effective diagnosis and treatment strategies. This study aimed to uncover the infection effect caused by MS in chicken oviduct cells.
