Blunt abdominal trauma frequently results in visceral injury to either solid or hollow organs; however, injury to the gallbladder is rare. This is most likely due to the anatomical position of the gallbladder, which is well-insulated posterior to the liver and rib cage. Gallbladder injuries can be in the form of avulsion, contusion, or laceration.

Background: Chylous ascites is an uncommon condition, occurring in less than 1% of ascites cases. It results from traumatic or obstructive disruption of the lymphatic system, causing the leakage of thoracic or intestinal lymph into the abdominal cavity. This leads to the accumulation of a milky, triglyceride-rich fluid.

Background: The initial assessment of trauma is a time-consuming and challenging task. The purpose of this research is to examine the diagnostic effectiveness and usefulness of machine learning models paired with radiomics features to identify blunt traumatic liver injury in abdominal computed tomography (CT) images.
Materials And Methods: In this study, 600 CT scan images of people with mild and severe liver damage due to trauma and healthy people were collected from the Kaggle dataset.

Traumatic hemorrhage and infection are major causes of mortality in wounds caused by battlefield injuries, hospital procedures, and traffic accidents. Developing a multifunctional nano-drug capable of simultaneously controlling bleeding, preventing infection, and promoting wound healing is critical. This study aimed to design and evaluate a nanoparticle-based solution to address these challenges effectively.

: Liver injury is common after abdominal trauma. However, the established biomarkers of liver injury, such as alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase (AST), lack accuracy. This study investigates whether specific liver-related microRNAs (miRNAs) are released into the circulation in trauma patients with liver injury and whether they can indicate liver damage in the early phase after major trauma.
