Background: Chronic hepatitis B (CHB) affects > 300 million people worldwide. The combination of CHB and cardiometabolic co-morbidities increases the risk of liver-related morbidity and mortality. However, international guidelines for CHB treatment do not provide recommendations for follow-up examinations or treatment of patients with CHB and cardiometabolic comorbidities.

We compared stretching, isometrics, and aerobic exercise for effectiveness in decreasing blood pressure post-exercise. Using a randomized crossover design, 5 males and 4 females (21.3y; normotensive) participated in four 30-minute sessions on separate days: static stretching (30s stretches, major muscle groups), isometric exercise, aerobic cycling (75% VO2peak), and control (rest), with blood pressure and heart rate measured before exercise (or rest) and for 60 minutes post-exercise (or rest).

A novel exercise protocol for cardiac rehabilitation aerobic (CRA) has been developed by Hebei Sport University, demonstrating efficacy in patients with coronary heart disease (CHD). The objective of this study was to evaluate the impact of CRA on precise cardiac rehabilitation (CR) for CHD patients presenting with stable angina pectoris. The study cohort comprised patients with stable angina who were categorized into three groups: the CRA group (n = 35), the power bicycles (PB) group (n = 34), and the control group (n = 43).

Background: Accurate blood pressure monitoring is essential in many clinical scenarios for adults and children and, when continuous measurement is critical, necessitates the insertion of an arterial line. A novel continuous non-invasive arterial pressure monitoring device using a pulse contour algorithm (Pulse Decomposition Analysis), Vitalstreamâ„¢, is approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration for use in adults. In this study the performance and accuracy of the device compared to intraarterial blood pressure monitoring were assessed in children ages 2-17 undergoing major surgeries.
