Methods: This study employed the network pharmacology platform to gather information on the chemical composition of SZS, human targets, genes, molecular networks, and pathways associated with insomnia treatment using SZS. Catecholaminergic polymorphic ventricular tachycardia (CPVT) is an inherited cardiac disease characterised by adrenergic-induced arrhythmias. The leading causes of CPVT are pathogenic variants in cardiac ryanodine receptor 2 (RYR2) and rarely, in cardiac calsequestrin-2 (CASQ2) genes, which are major components of Ca handling in cardiac myocytes. Background: Choosing effective devices (inhaled corticosteroid [ICS]-long-acting β2 agonist [LABA] combination inhalers) as maintenance treatment is critical for managing patients with asthma. We aimed to compare ICS/LABA combination efficacy, safety, and adherence across inhaler types and components in patients newly diagnosed with asthma.
Methods: Utilizing South Korea's National Health Insurance Service data, we conducted a population-based cohort study involving patients aged 18-80 years, newly diagnosed with asthma who received ICS/LABA combination therapy between January 2016 and December 2020.

Norepinephrine in vertebrates and its invertebrate analog, octopamine, regulate the activity of neural circuits. We find that, when hungry, larvae switch activity in type II octopaminergic motor neurons (MNs) to high-frequency bursts, which coincide with locomotion-driving bursts in type I glutamatergic MNs that converge on the same muscles. Optical quantal analysis across hundreds of synapses simultaneously reveals that octopamine potentiates glutamate release by tonic type Ib MNs, but not phasic type Is MNs, and occurs via the G-coupled octopamine receptor (OAMB).
