Background: We experienced a patient with multiple myeloma whose urine contained a considerable amount of Bence Jones protein (BJP), which demonstrated poor thermal reactivity in heat coagulation test. The mechanism for this phenomenon was assessed.
Methods: Immunoelectrophoretic analyses reveal that a band corresponding to BJP in the urine had 2,600 Dalton by reduction after glycosidase treatment, but not after sialidase treatment.
The frequency of cross-reactivity with various avian eggs among children with hen's egg allergy using skin prick test results: fewer sensitizations with pigeon and goose egg.

Introduction And Objectives: A high rate of cross-reactivity has been reported between the specific proteins of hen's egg with proteins of various avian eggs by quantitative immunoelectrophoretic techniques. The aim of this study was to assess the clinical cross-reactivity of different birds eggs in children with hen's egg allergy based on skin prick test results.
Material And Methods: This cross-sectional study enrolled 52 infants with hen's egg allergy and 52 healthy infants with no history of food allergy from October 2018 to April 2019.

The diagnostic potentialities of complex immunochemical analysis of the serum and daily urine were evaluated in 118 patients with multiple myeloma. In 95 patients, we observed secretion of monoclonal intact immunoglobulins with heavy chains G (N=69), A (N=19), and M (N=4) and biclonal secretion of paraproteins G and A (N=3). Bence-Jones protein was detected in the sera and daily urine of 16 patients and Bence-Jones proteinuria alone was detected in 3 patients.

We report the case of a 25-year-old woman presenting with left hip pain. A lesion was found in the proximal femoral metaphysis. Benign bone tumor, such as intraosseous lipoma or liposclerosing myxofibrous tumor, was suspected based on simple radiographs and magnetic resonance images.

Methods: Sera from 15 sheep, without any history of brucellosis vaccination, infected with Brucella melitensis M16 subcutaneously, were employed in a comparison of culture, precipitating, and immunoelectrophoretic tests.
