The emergence of new variants and diverse vaccination regimens have raised uncertainty about vaccine effectiveness against SARS-CoV-2. This study aims to investigate the impact of Omicron primo-/reinfection and primary vaccination schedules on the immunogenicity of an mRNA-based booster dose over a six-month period. We conducted a prospective cohort study to assess the durability and level of antibodies of 678 healthcare workers fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Chordomas are a low-to-intermediate-grade slow-growing subtype of sarcoma, but show propensity to grow and invade locally with recurrence and metastasis in 10-40% of cases. We describe the first case of spontaneous regression of a solid tumor (histologically and immunohistochemically proven chordoma) after COVID-19. A female patient with clival chordoma underwent occipitocervical fixation prior to tumor resection.

The patients with Arthrogryposis-Renal dysfunction-Cholestasis (ARC) syndrome have genetic susceptibility to the opportunistic infections due to the involvement of VPS33B (vacuolar protein sorting 33 homolog B) in phagolysosome fusion in macrophages. Detailed pathologic studies in ARC patients are missing in literature due to the lack of autopsy. We described the first autopsy case of ARC syndrome in a 2-month-old male infant.
