This article deals with comparative results of modern examination methods in early diagnosis of bladder cancer, determination of the degree of invasion and selection of radical treatment tactics. The purpose of the conducted research work is to make a comparative analysis of existing methods of examination related to the stages of development of bladder cancer. The research was carried out on the Department of Urology of Azerbaijan Medical University.

We present a rare malignant melanoma of the right adrenal gland and periureteral adipose tissue leading to ureteral stenosis with the subsequent hydronephrotic transformation of the right kidney and pyonephrosis in a 67-year-old man.

Materials And Methods: A retrospective analysis of medical records regarding 98 patients from Speranskij Childrens Municipal Hospital No9, Moscow and Regional Clinical Hospital No7, Volgograd, aged from 3 to 24 months with unilateral hydronephrosis of varying degrees, according to the SFU classification (Society of Fetal Urology) in the Onen modification was carried out. LP in all children was performed in accordance with the Heins-Andersen technique, with minimal resection of the pelvis.
MR urography was made in 25 patients (age 24-70, mean age 48.6 years, 20 females, 5 males) with iatrogenic injury of the upper urinary tract (UUT). A comparison group consisted of 15 patients without nephrostomic drainage who had no contraindications for intravenous contrast preparations.

Merits and demerits of ultrasound technique for the diagnosis of renal colic are discussed. Major difficulties encountered in dopplerographic diagnosis of disturbed urine passage and renal hemodynamics are described.
