Cerebral arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) are tangles of abnormal vessels with early arteriovenous (AV) shunting that can lead to intracerebral hemorrhage, seizures, neurologic deficit, or headache. To date, only a few cases of carcinomas metastasizing to pre-existing cerebral AVMs have been reported in the literature. However, renal clear cell carcinoma (RCC) brain metastases that exhibit early AV shunting, where AVM pathology is not present, are extremely rare.

Cold agglutinin syndrome is a form of acquired hemolytic anemia that typically arises from underlying conditions, such as infections, autoimmune disorders or lymphoid malignancies. The majority of patients remain asymptomatic and are diagnosed with anemia through routine complete blood count (CBC) testing. The present study describes the case of a male patient in his 50s who sought a second opinion at the authors' clinic due to newly detected anemia.

Background And Objective: In clinical practice, CK19 can be an important predictor for the prognosis of HCC. Due to the high incidence and mortality rates of HCC, more effective and practical prognostic prediction models need to be developed urgently.
Methods: A total of 1,168 HCC patients, who underwent radical surgery at the Guangxi Medical University Cancer Hospital, between January 2014 and July 2019, were recruited, and their clinicopathological data were collected.
