: Objective data examining match trends and applicant characteristics are in high demand given the stakes involved with the orthopaedic surgery match. Our study sought to analyse the trends among matched orthopaedic surgery applicants to clarify how medical students can best prepare for and assess their chances of a successful orthopaedic residency match. : We used the publicly available National Residency Matching Program (NRMP) tool to gather characteristics for matched and unmatched orthopaedic surgery applicants from 2016 to 2022 and compare the probability of matching for all applicants versus each subgroup of reported applicant characteristics using risk difference (RD) and two-tailed p-values.

Investigations into neuroprotective drugs are in high demand for the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases, such as multiple sclerosis or Alzheimer's disease, but also psychiatric disorders, such as depression, trauma, and substance use. One potential drug class being investigated are tetracyclines impacting on a variety of neuroprotective mechanisms. At the same time, tetracyclines like doxycycline have been suggested to affect human fear and spatial memory as well as reducing declarative memory retention.

Background: A number of studies demonstrate the efficacy of ribavirin against various cancer types in and models. However, ribavirin induces the development of multiple side effects, suggesting a high demand for ribavirin analogues with improved therapeutic indexes.
Objective: This study was focused on the analysis of ribavirin, its aglycon 1,2,4-triazole-3-carboxamide, and several of its derivatives activities in blood cancer cells .

In particular, there is a high demand for volunteers who can serve as spiritual caregivers. However, a volunteer's ability to provide good spiritual care in a palliative setting may be influenced by their attitude toward palliative care.
