The evolutionary transition from simple chordate body plans to complex vertebrate body plans was driven by the acquisition of the neural crest, a stem cell population that retains broad, multi-germ layer developmental potential long after most embryonic cells have become lineage restricted. We have previously shown that neural crest cells share significant gene regulatory architecture with pluripotent blastula stem cells. Here we examine the roles that Krüppel-like Family (Klf) transcription factors play in these stem cell populations.

Purpose: This study aimed to analyze the distribution and factors influencing anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) levels among family-planning women of childbearing age in Beijing, China.
Patients And Methods: We collected the data of 3,236 family-planning women of childbearing age who underwent pre-pregnancy examinations at Xicheng District Maternal and Child Health Hospital in Beijing between October 2021 and July 2024. Collected data included age, education level, ethnicity, height, weight, and systolic and diastolic blood pressure.

In waterflooding development of narrow channel reservoirs, the water cut rises quickly, and the reservoir becomes nearly fully flooded, yet oil recovery remains low. The narrow strip sand body and long-term water injection create a complex oil and water distribution, making it difficult to evaluate the degree of reservoir utilization during waterflooding. This paper establishes a practical streamline method to quantitatively characterize the waterflooding mobilization degree of narrow channel reservoirs.

To investigate the clinicopathological features, diagnosis, genetic alterations, and biological behaviors of hamartomatous inverted hyperplastic polyp (HIHP) in the gastrointestinal tract. The clinical, sonographic, endoscopic and pathologic data of 10 HIHP cases diagnosed at the First Affiliated Hospital of Air Force Medical University, Xi'an, China from January 2013 to March 2024 were collected. This study focuses on the development and evaluation of the OrthoNail hybrid intramedullary implant for lower limb lengthening in patients requiring significant skeletal reconstruction. The implant addresses the challenges in load-bearing during rehabilitation, providing a robust solution that is capable of supporting physiological loads. Mechanical tests, including axial compression, tension, torsion, and 3,4-point bending, determined the implant's load capacity and fatigue resistance, while finite element analysis assessed stress distributions in bone tissue and around screw holes during single-leg stance, with boundary conditions derived from Orthoload database data.
