Glycolipids are known to stabilize biomembrane multilayers through preferential sugar-sugar interactions that act as weak transient membrane cross-links. Here, we use small-angle and quasi-elastic neutron scattering on oligolamellar phospholipid vesicles containing defined glycolipid fractions in order to elucidate the influence of glycolipids on membrane mechanics and dynamics. Small-angle neutron scattering (SANS) reveals that the oligolamellar vesicles (OLVs) obtained by extrusion are polydisperse with regard to the number of lamellae, , which renders the interpretation of the quasi-elastic neutron spin echo (NSE) data nontrivial.

Machine learning (ML) has shown great potential in the adaptive immune receptor repertoire (AIRR) field. However, there is a lack of large-scale ground-truth experimental AIRR data suitable for AIRR-ML-based disease diagnostics and therapeutics discovery. Simulated ground-truth AIRR data are required to complement the development and benchmarking of robust and interpretable AIRR-ML methods where experimental data is currently inaccessible or insufficient.

Introduction: Teacher burnout is a serious problem that requires quick attention and management since it not only compromises educational quality but also strains schools' financial resources.
Research Objective: The purpose of the present study was to profile burnout indicators for teachers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. A secondary goal was to evaluate the consistency of burnout profiles between elementary and secondary school teachers.

Synapse-specific connectivity and dynamics determine microcircuit function but are challenging to explore with classic paired recordings due to their low throughput. We therefore implemented optomapping, a ∼100-fold faster two-photon optogenetic method. In mouse primary visual cortex (V1), we optomapped 30,454 candidate inputs to reveal 1,790 excitatory inputs to pyramidal, basket, and Martinotti cells.

Organic radical reactions are crucial in many areas of chemistry, including synthetic, biological, and atmospheric chemistry. We develop a predictive framework based on the interaction of molecular orbitals that operates on mechanistic-level radical reactions. Given our chemistry-aware model, all predictions are provided with different levels of interpretability.
