Background: Most studies to date exploring facilitators and barriers to adolescent and young adults' (AYAs') participation in clinical trials have been focused on external factors to AYAs' participation or recruitment strategies.

Objective: The purpose of this mixed-methods study was to determine AYA cancer survivors' preferences for oncology symptom management clinical trial participation.

Methods: Semistructured interviews and conjoint analysis were conducted to clarify potential attributes (eg, characteristics) and levels (eg, value of the characteristic) that may be important to AYA cancer survivors when considering clinical trial participation (n = 19).

Importance: Uncomplicated urinary tract infection (UTI) is a common indication for outpatient antimicrobial therapy. National guidelines for the management of uncomplicated UTI were published in 2011, but the extent to which they align with current practices, patient diversity, and pathogen biology, all of which have evolved greatly in the time since their publication, is not fully known.

Objective: To reevaluate the effectiveness and adverse event profile for first-line antibiotics, fluoroquinolones, and oral β-lactams for treating uncomplicated UTI in contemporary clinical practice.

Qingzao Jiufei Decoction (QD) is a renowned prescription for nourishing lung Yin to treat lung related diseases in ancient and modern times. It has been reported that QD can effectively inhibit the growth of lung cancer, but the material basis and mechanism of its treatment of LC remain to be further studied. In this experiment, we combined serum pharmacochemistry and proteomics to study the pharmacodynamic material basis and mechanism of QD against lung cancer.

Introduction: Adults with type 2 diabetes (T2D) often experience musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs), which complicate health care provision and negatively impact their health and health care utilization and expenditure. The objective of this study was to estimate the incremental health care utilization and expenditure associated with MSD among adult T2D patients in the United States overall and by race/ethnicity.

Methods: A sample (unweighted n=6205) of noninstitutionalized US adults with a T2D diagnosis was obtained from the Medical Expenditure Panel Survey (MEPS), panels 2015-2016 to 2019-2020.

Unlabelled: Urinary tract infections, in particular acute gestational pyelonephritis (AGP) determine a high risk of developing various complications of pregnancy and childbirth. The development of new medical technologies for the treatment of AGP remains relevant. It has not only high direct effectiveness, but also shows a distinct impact of secondary prevention of pyelonephritis exacerbations and a fetoprotective effect.
