Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) play a crucial role in regenerative medicine due to their regenerative potential. However, traditional MSC-based therapies are hindered by issues such as microvascular obstruction and low cell survival after transplantation. Exosomes derived from MSCs (MSC-Exo) provide a cell-free, nanoscale alternative, mitigating these risks and offering therapeutic potential for liver diseases.

Hemostatic resuscitation is a mainstay in the management of trauma patients. Factors such as blood loss and tissue injury contribute to coagulation and hemodynamic status imbalances. Aim: To evaluate and compare pre- and post-STB training outcomes of bleeding control knowledge, willingness to act and confidence in doing so.
Background: Stop the Bleed® (STB) training improves trainees' willingness to intervene in pre-hospital bleeding emergencies and confidence in doing so, but few studies report associated knowledge-based outcomes.
Methods: A cross-sectional, observational study was performed using a pre-/post-test approach.

The initial skin breakdown and subsequent healing processes are complex and influenced by various parameters, including systemic factors, infectious bioburden, and perfusion. Vascular wounds comprise inadequate inflow (due to peripheral artery disease), microvascular damage (result of diabetes mellitus), or vasoconstriction. Normal healing of acute wounds occurs in a sequence of defined stages; however, if a dysregulated inflammatory state ensues, it is classified as chronic.
