Background: Papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) is the most common type of well-differentiated thyroid cancer accounting for up to 80% of all thyroid neoplasms. Metastases to the regional lymph nodes (RLN) of the neck are a feature of its biological aggressiveness. The presence of psammoma bodies may be considered a pathomorphological feature of PTC in addition to the papillary structure of tumor and specific nuclear changes.

Background: In 2018, ovarian carcinoma ranked as the eighth most common cancer diagnosed and the leading cause of cancer death in women. High-grade serous carcinoma is the most common histological type seen among malignant cases. A diverse group of neoplasms is seen in the ovary with variable clinical, morphological, and histological features, so assessing the nature of ovarian neoplasms further assists in the treatment of the disease.

Objectives: To evaluate the relationship between arytenoid adduction asymmetry (AAA) and the demographic and morphological characteristics of true vocal fold (TVF) polyps and establish the cause and effect relationship between AAA and TVF polyps.
Methods: Videolaryngostroboscopic findings of 163 patients with TVF polyps were retrospectively reviewed and categorized into Group 1 with AAA or Group 2 without AAA. Demographic details, clinicomorphological polyp characteristics, supraglottic phenomena, and AAA attributes were analyzed.
