The FVB/N mouse strain is widely used in transgenic studies and as a model for autoimmune diseases. Although spontaneous lesions have been reported in aged FVB/N mice, information regarding younger FVB/N mice is lacking. This study aimed to investigate the spontaneous lesions in young FVB/N mice.

The objective of this study is to describe the clinical and histologic features of a dog that developed anterior uveitis and uveal depigmentation in association with vitiligo. A 3-year-old, female-spayed, Bernese Mountain Dog with a history of bilateral idiopathic anterior uveitis developed iris depigmentation, leukotrichia, and skin depigmentation. The initial diagnostic evaluation for uveitis was unremarkable, including general bloodwork, urinalysis, infectious disease testing, thoracic radiographs, and abdominal ultrasound.

Introduction: It is unknown whether prodromal dizziness (PD) before an attack of vestibular neuritis (VN) has an association with peripheral vestibular lesions. The purpose of this study was to investigate whether the severity of vestibular dysfunction has an association with the presence of PD.
Methods: We reviewed the medical records of 88 consecutive unilateral VN patients with unilateral canal paresis in caloric testing.

Introduction: Rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS) originates from undifferentiated mesenchymal cells that give rise to striated muscles. The symptoms of para-meningeal RMS often resemble those of allergic rhinosinusitis, including nasal congestion, mucus discharge, headache, and occasional nosebleeds. We report a child with atypical clinical presentation of ocular hypertropia secondary to para-meningeal RMS.
