The anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is one of the most injured ligaments, with approximately 100,000 ACL reconstructions taking place annually in the United States. In order to successfully manage ACL rupture, it is of the utmost importance to understand the anatomy, unique physiology, and biomechanics of the ACL, as well as the injury mechanisms and healing capacity. Currently, the "gold standard" for the treatment of ACL ruptures is surgical reconstruction, particularly for young patients or athletes expecting to return to pivoting sports.

Traditional methods for evaluating tennis technique, such as visual observation and video analysis, are often subjective and time consuming. On the other hand, a quick and accurate assessment can provide immediate feedback to players and contribute to technical development, particularly in less experienced athletes. This study aims to validate the use of a single inertial measurement system to assess some relevant technical parameters of amateur players.

The Lateral Collateral Ligament (LCL), one of the four major ligaments in the knee joint, resides on the outer aspect of the knee. It forms a vital connection between the femur and the fibula. The LCL's primary role is to provide stability against Varus forces, safeguarding the knee from undue rotation and tibial displacement.

Reverse shoulder arthroplasty (RSA) has witnessed a significant advancement with the introduction of lateralisation techniques, aiming to enhance shoulder function and implant durability. Traditional medialised designs, following Grammont's principles, have encountered challenges such as scapular notching, reduced rotational strength, and instability. In contrast, lateralisation methods, which reposition the joint center of rotation laterally on the glenoid, humerus, or both, seek to improve deltoid leverage, optimize the rotator cuff muscles' length-tension relationship, and enhance joint stability.

Unlabelled: The purpose of this study was to assess the methodology for selecting sports talent in the Chilean Promising Athletes Program (CPAP).
Methods: The standing broad jump (SBJ), medicine ball chest throw (MBCT), thirty-meter running sprint (RS-30), Agility-T (T-test), and height were analyzed in 3060 schoolchildren from Chile, grouped by sex, age, geographical area (north, central and south) and maturity status at peak height velocity (PHV) in pre-, circa- and post-PHV.
Results: Superior differences were found in boys for all age ranges in SBJ, RS-30, T-test, and MBCT ( < 0.
