This work investigates the surface chemistry of the Ru/CeO catalyst under varying pretreatment conditions and during the oxidation of propane, focusing on both dry and humid environments. Our results show that the Ru/CeO catalyst calcined in O at 500 °C initiates propane oxidation at 200 °C, achieves high conversion rates above 400 °C, and demonstrates almost no change in activity in the presence of water vapor across the entire studied temperature range of 200-500 °C. Prereduction of the oxidized Ru/CeO catalyst in H significantly enhances its activity, though this enhancement diminishes at higher temperatures.

In a consumer-centric environment, food products are created and focused on the consumer's experience and desires. One important food product used around the world is butter. Consumers expect that when they take their butter out of the refrigerator, it will be able to spread nicely and evenly; however, with conventional butter, which does not include any added vegetable oils, achieving a soft, spreadable butter is rare.

The modulation of the N-glycosylation status in immune checkpoints, particularly the PD-1/PD-L1 axis, has emerged as a promising approach to enhance cancer immunotherapies. While immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) targeting PD-1 and PD-L1 have achieved significant clinical success, recent studies highlight the critical role of N-glycosylation in regulating their expression, stability, and function. Alterations in N-glycosylation might affect the efficacy of ICIs by modulating the interactions between immune checkpoints and antibodies used in therapy.

Sages and their beneficial secondary metabolites have been used in conventional and traditional medicine in many countries, and are extensively studied for their health effects. However, to achieve high production levels, it is crucial to optimize the cultivation conditions. The aim of our study was to determine the optimal light-emitting diode (LED) treatment strategy for promoting plant growth and polyphenol biosynthesis in S.

The aim of this paper is to review studies available in scientific databases on the effectiveness of cognitive behavioral therapy programmes for separation anxiety disorder in children. The paper also includes a presentation of a clinical description of therapy for a 12-year-old girl with a diagnosis of separation anxiety according to ICD-10. The most widely researched and sole protocol for working with children with anxiety disorders in Poland, the Coping Cat programme, was used as the basic protocol.
