Purpose: To identify the predictive role of the preoperative prognostic nutritional index (PNI) for long-term survival in patients undergoing pancreatoduodenectomy.
Methods: The PubMed, EMBASE, Web of Science, Cochrane Library and CNKI databases were searched up to October 28, 2024. The primary outcomes included overall survival (OS) and disease-free survival (DFS).

Objectives: To explore the lived experiences of patients with advanced pancreatic cancer enrolled in a patient-reported outcomes (PROs) management programme and to preliminarily understand how PROs management influences various aspects of patient care and overall quality of life.
Design: A qualitative phenomenological study.
Setting: A national cancer care centre in Southwest China specialised in cancer care, with a comprehensive PROs management programme.

Introduction: Prolonged sitting can acutely reduce working memory (WM) in individuals with overweight and obesity (OW/OB) who show executive function deficits. Interrupting prolonged sitting with brief PA bouts may counter these effects. However, the benefits of such interventions on behavioral and neuroelectric indices of WM and whether neurocognitive responses are associated with postprandial glycemic responses in young and middle-aged adults with OW/OB remain unknown.
