Objective: To examine the anatomical and morphological structure and potential pathological conditions of the submandibular gland by performing Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) sialography in patients with diabetes mellitus.
Study Design: The submandibular salivary glands of 25 diabetic and 25 healthy volunteers were examined by CBCT sialography. The images were evaluated to determine the main and lateral canals, the diameter of the main canal, the presence of ductal stenosis, central ductal dilatation, acinar pooling, the presence of sialoliths, and the visualization of the main and lateral canals and parenchyma.

Objectives: Sialendoscopy has become the standard treatment for sialolithiasis; however, larger submandibular calculi may require an incisional technique. This study describes and evaluates an intraoral microscopic-assisted sialolithotomy (IMAS) as a refined submandibular stone extraction technique.
Methods: Retrospective case series of 64 submandibular IMAS procedures operated at a tertiary university center and private hospital from 2015 to 2021 were evaluated.

We report an unusual case of recurrent parotitis caused by in a 23-year-old female university student with poor oral hygiene and vitamin D insufficiency. Despite multiple antibiotic courses, symptoms persisted, highlighting the complexity of diagnosis and management in such cases. Diagnostic workup included blood tests, which showed normal inflammatory markers, and magnetic resonance sialography, revealing two intraductal stones in the right parotid gland.

Background/purpose: 2016 American College of Rheumatology/European League Against Rheumatism (ACR/EULAR) primary Sjögren's syndrome (SS) diagnostic criteria did not incorporate radiographic examination while staging SS according to salivary gland imaging and serological autoantibody tests was not discussed. The aim is to study the value of parotid sialography for diagnosing SS, and to initially explore the method of staging SS based on the results of imaging and serological autoantibody tests.
Materials And Methods: 287 patients' clinical records were included.
