Negative capacitance (NC) effects in ferroelectrics can potentially break fundamental limits of power dissipation known as "Boltzmann tyranny." However, the origin of transient NC of ferroelectrics, which is attributed to two different mechanisms involving free-energy landscape and nucleation, is under intense debate. Here, we report the coexistence of transient NC and an S-shaped anomaly during the switching of ferroelectric hexagonal ferrites capacitor in an RC circuit.

Importance: Although surgery for pelvic organ prolapse (POP) is generally associated with an improvement in sexual function, knowledge on specific changes is limited.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to describe and compare changes in sexual activity and function during a 5-year follow-up period after POP surgery.

Study Design: This was a nationwide cohort study of 3,515 women operated on for POP in 2015 in Finland.

Key Laboratory of Macromolecular Science of Shaanxi Province, Shaanxi Engineering Laboratory for Advanced Energy Technology, School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Shaanxi Normal University, Xi'an, Shaanxi 710062, PR China.

Inorganic phosphori are widely used in food, whose quantitative detection method is of significance. This work presents a Sm-DDB (HDDB = 1,3-di(3',5'-dicarboxylphenyl)benzene), which acts as a ratiometric fluorescence sensor to monitor PO, HPO, and (PO) with high sensitivity. The determination factors of pH, MOF dosage, and fluorescence response time are optimized as 7.

Charge transport in materials has an impact on a wide range of devices based on semiconductor, battery, or superconductor technology. Charge transport in sliding charge density waves (CDW) differs from all others in that the atomic lattice is directly involved in the transport process. To obtain an overall picture of the structural changes associated to the collective transport, the large coherent x-ray beam generated by an x-ray free-electron laser (XFEL) source was used.

Background: Despite the comparatively high prevalence of possible sarcopenia among young-old adults in the community, there is currently no available and effective social media-based intervention to increase the awareness and change the behavior of the target population to prevent sarcopenia. Using co-design methodology, we developed a multicomponent intervention strategy of health education and exercise for sarcopenia prevention utilizing the TikTok platform.

Objectives: The primary purpose of this study is to examine the feasibility and acceptability of the social media-based intervention to enhance muscle function in community-dwelling young-old adults with possible sarcopenia.
