Global research trends in music therapy for surgery: a bibliometric analysis (2009-2023).

Perioper Med (Lond)

January 2025

Department of Neurosurgery, the Second People's Hospital of Yibin, Yibin, 644000, Sichuan Province, China.

Music therapy, known for its profound impact on human emotions and physiology, has gained increasing attention for its applications in medical settings, particularly in surgery. This study conducted a bibliometric analysis of publications on the application of music therapy in surgery from 2009 to 2023, utilizing the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) as the primary database. A total of 479 publications were analyzed using VOSviewer, CiteSpace, Microsoft Excel, and online bibliometric tools.

Infiltration and subtype analysis of CD3 + CD20 + T cells in lung cancer.

BMC Cancer

January 2025

Basic Research Center, Sichuan Clinical Research Center for Cancer, Sichuan Cancer Center, School of Medicine, Sichuan Cancer Hospital & Institute, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Chengdu, China.

Background: CD3 + CD20 + T cells (T cells) are a subset of lymphocytes in the human body that are associated with inflammation. They originate from T cells interacting with B cells, and their levels are abnormally elevated in individuals with immune disorders, as well as in some cancer patients. The interplay between tumor immunity and inflammation is intricate, yet the specific involvement of T cells in local tumor immunity remains uncertain, with limited research on their subtypes.

Cardiac sarcomas are rare, aggressive malignancies originating from various cardiac cell types, presenting significant challenges in both diagnosis and treatment. This comprehensive review explores recent advancements in diagnosis and treatment of cardiac angiosarcoma, fibrosarcoma, leiomyosarcoma, and rhabdomyosarcoma. And we briefly discuss the exceedingly rare occurrence of cardiac osteosarcoma and present our perspectives on its treatment.

Introduction: When a first anti-CGRP monoclonal antibody (anti-CGRP mAb) fails, switching to a different anti-CGRP mAb is an option often considered, despite this approach is not yet systemically studied.

Methods: We present the findings of a systematic review conducted according to the PRISMA recommendations on published studies - of any design - investigating the clinical outcomes after switching for any reason to different anti-CGRP mAbs.

Results: The literature search retrieved 76 records, while 19 papers were eventually reviewed.

Evaluation of navigation and robotic systems for percutaneous image-guided interventions: A novel metric for advanced imaging and artificial intelligence integration.

Diagn Interv Imaging

January 2025

Department of Radiology, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York, NY 10065, USA; Sorbonne Université, CNRS, INSERM, Laboratoire d'Imagerie Biomédicale, 75013 Paris, France.

Purpose: Navigation and robotic systems aim to improve the accuracy and efficiency of percutaneous image-guided interventions, but the evaluation of their autonomy and integration of advanced imaging and artificial intelligence (AI) is lacking. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the level of automation and integration of advanced imaging and artificial intelligence in navigation and robotic systems for percutaneous image-guided interventions, using established and novel metrics to categorize and compare their capabilities.

Materials And Methods: Following PRISMA guidelines, a systematic review was conducted to identify studies on clinically validated navigation and robotic systems published between 2000 and May 2024.
