Plastics are globally considered a significant threat, particularly to metropolitan areas, due to the extensive use of plastic products. This research is the first of its kind to document microplastics contamination and its effects on Red wettled lapwing (Vanellus indicus). The concentration of microplastics (MPs) was measured from surface water at different locations including canals and drains, which are the primary sources of MPs pollution in the metropolitan city Lahore, Pakistan.

Vertical maxillary excess presents a complex challenge in orthodontic treatment, necessitating effective anchorage systems for optimal correction. This research is useful to assess the skeletal anchorage system's (SAS) effectiveness in correcting the vertical maxillary excess among adult patients presenting with gummy smiles. This study includes case reports with English full text and examines the global general adult (18+) human population with vertical maxillary excess (VME).

By plotting trial-level associations between surrogate and final outcomes with prediction intervals and by presenting results from cross-validation procedures, this research demonstrates the value of comparing a range of model predictions.

Understanding these variations is important for developing artificial intelligence (AI) systems that can effectively support optometrists with varying degrees of experience and minimize decision inconsistencies.
Objective: The main objective of this study is to identify and analyze the variations in diagnostic decision-making approaches between novice and expert optometrists.
