Background: This article aims to use high-throughput sequencing to identify miRNAs associated with ferroptosis in myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury, select a target miRNA, and investigate its role in H9C2 cells hypoxia-reoxygenation injury.
Methods: SD rats and H9C2 cells were used as subjects. ELISA kits quantified MDA, SOD, GSH, LDH, and ferritin levels.

Selection on body size tends to favor larger males that outcompete smaller males to mate with females, and larger, more fecund females. For many web-building spiders in the Nephilidae family, reproductive success increases with body size, which in turn, is related to diet. The diet of female spiders may overlap with males who share her web, but diet patterns could depend on size if certain males have better access to prey ensnared in the web.

Elongator is a tRNA-modifying complex that regulates protein translation. Recently, a moonlighting function of Elongator has been identified in regulating the polarization of the microtubule cytoskeleton during asymmetric cell division. Elongator induces symmetry breaking of the anaphase midzone by selectively stabilizing microtubules on one side of the spindle, contributing to the downstream polarized segregation of cell-fate determinants, and therefore to cell fate determination.
