Objective: Abnormal mechanical stress is intimately coupled with osteoarthritis (OA). Microtubules play a vital role in the regulation of mechanotransduction and intracellular transport. The purpose of the present study was to investigate the impact of stress-induced microtubule impairment on intracellular transport and lipid droplet (LD) accumulation in chondrocytes.

These issues can negatively impact on overall quality of life, leading to both aesthetic and functional concerns.
Aim Of The Study: This research compares the oral health of individuals in methadone maintenance treatment (MMT) with those starting MMT.
A considerable portion of the global population is affected by pulpitis and periapical lesions. While the impact of infections caused by various microbes and host effector molecules in pulpal and periapical diseases is widely recognized, disease susceptibility and progression are also influenced by the dynamic interaction between host genetic factors and environmental influences. Apical periodontitis occurs as an inflammatory response to microorganisms present in the root canals of infected teeth.

Extracellular vesicles (EVs) are membrane vesicles derived from cells and serve as an endogenous mechanism for intercellular communication. Since the discovery of their capacity to effectively transfer biological information, their potential as drug delivery vehicles has garnered significant scientific interest. Particularly, EVs derived from mesenchymal cells (MSC-EVs) have emerged as a highly promising method for drug delivery.

Temporomandibular joint osteoarthritis (TMJOA) is a painful inflammatory condition that limits mouth opening. Cell-derived exosomes, which have anti-inflammatory effects, are emerging as a treatment for TMJOA. Injection of dental pulp stem cells (DPSCs), which secrete exosomes, can moderate tissue damage in a rat model of TMJOA.
