This work aims to improve the accuracy and efficiency of flood disaster monitoring, including monitoring before, during, and after the flood, to achieve accurate extraction of flood disaster change information. A modified U-Net network model, incorporating the Transformer multi-head attention mechanism (TM), is developed specifically for the characteristics of Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) images. By integrating the TM, the model effectively prioritizes image regions relevant to flood disasters.

To develop a predictive model for improvement of ejection fraction 1 year after heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF) following acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI). This nested case-control study included STEMI patients diagnosed with HFrEF from a prospective multicenter multimodality imaging cohort between August 2014 and March 2021. Based on the improvement of left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) at baseline and 1-year follow-up, the patients were classified into the heart failure with improved ejection fraction (HFimpEF) group and the persistent HFrEF group.

Rationale And Objectives: Severe COVID-19 typically results in pulmonary sequelae. However, current research lacks clarity on the differences in these sequelae among various clinical subtypes. Intratumoral drug delivery systems hold immense promise in overcoming the limitations of conventional IV chemotherapy, particularly in enhancing therapeutic efficacy and minimizing systemic side effects. In this study, we introduce a novel redox-responsive intratumoral nanogel system that combines the biocompatibility of natural polysaccharides with the tailored properties of synthetic polymers. The nanogel features a unique cross-linked architecture incorporating redox-sensitive segments, designed to leverage the elevated glutathione levels in the tumor microenvironment for controlled drug release.

Less is known about the extrapulmonary impact of ETI and effects on airway microbiology, lung clearance index (LCI) and fraction of exhaled nitric oxide (FeNO).
Methods: A multicentre prospective observational trial, including 79 pwCF ≥ 18 years eligible for ETI.
