Purpose: Dupilumab is a widely recommended treatment for moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis (AD), with known ocular side effects but less frequent cutaneous reactions.
Material And Methods: This case report details a 52-year-old female patient with atopic dermatitis treated with dupilumab. After an initially successful treatment, the patient developed a rosacea-like dermatitis.
Introduction: Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a chronic inflammatory autoimmune disease that affects various body systems, including the skin and facial features. Estrogen promotes lupus in human and mouse models of SLE. In this study, we conducted an in vivo study to investigate the relationship between two estrogen receptors (ERα and ERβ) and platelet-activating factor acetylhydrolase (PAF-AH) on the symptoms of SLE.

Atypical mycobacteria can cause rare and atypical infections of the hand. We report the case of an immunocompetent 46-year-old male initially presenting with thumb felon and progressively developing symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome, tenosynovitis of multiple fingers and a sporotrichoid lymphocutaneous infection causing chronic cutaneous lesions all over the body. We would like to highlight the diagnostic and therapeutic difficulties of these atypical infections, which mimic other conditions and can cause a lot of morbidity.

Chronic wounds are notoriously challenging to heal as they are often halted in their normal healing process. The concept of TIME (Tissue, Inflammation/Infection, Moisture imbalance, Epithelial edge advancement) has been widely utilized in clinical practice to prepare wound beds and promote healing, particularly in longstanding wounds. Traditional methods of wound bed preparation are often inadequate in healing chronic wounds or they may not be tolerated by patients.
