Background: Neck and back pain pathologies are currently the main cause of absenteeism from work in Spain and in the European Union, and represent a high socio-labor, economic and health cost for the Health Systems.
Aim: To assess the effectiveness of a Back School Program of a Spanish mutual insurance company (risk factors, pain and disability scales) in women workers with low back or neck pain.
Design: We combined a descriptive study of first-session data collected in the total sample and a prospective multicenter intervention study in those participants who completed the second and third check-up at 6 and 9 months.

Background: Excessive daytime sleepiness (EDS) is considered to be one of the main clinical manifestations of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and is a treatment target for patients with OSA. The prevalence of EDS in patients with OSA remains unclear and there is a lack of studies on the associations of EDS with quality of life among patients with OSA in China. This study aimed to evaluate the prevalence of EDS and its association with quality of life in patients with OSA in Shenzhen, China.

Background: The COVID-19 pandemic was a significant health risk and resulted in increased sickness absence during the pandemic. This study examines whether a history of COVID-19 infection is associated with a higher risk of subsequent sickness absence.
Methods: In this prospective cohort study, 32,124 public sector employees responded to a survey on COVID-19 infection and lifestyle factors in 2020 and were linked to sickness absence records before (2019) and after (2021-2022) the survey.

Background And Objectives: Orthopedic surgeons' demanding work may negatively affect their health. This study examines the prevalence of musculoskeletal (MSK) issues, specifically back and neck pain, among orthopedic surgeons in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and explores contributing sociodemographic factors.
Materials And Methods: We conducted an observational study that assessed the prevalence of back and neck pain among certified orthopedic surgeons using an online survey, which included Logistic regression for risk factors, one-way ANOVA for disability-contributing factors, and Tukey's post-hoc test for subgroup analysis.
