Effect of inulin on small extracellular vesicles microRNAs in milk from dairy cows with subclinical mastitis.

J Anim Sci

January 2023

State Key Laboratory of Animal Nutrition, Institute of Animal Science, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Beijing 100193, P. R. China.

Milk contains microRNAs (miRNA) that are shielded by small extracellular vesicles (sEVs). Beyond variations among individuals, many factors including nutrition play a role in shaping miRNA expression profiles. This study is to explore milk-derived sEVs-miRNA variations induced by inulin supplementation in subclinical mastitis-suffering cows.

Accelerated Hydrothermal Aging and Degradation Mechanism of PE100 Butt-Fusion Welded Joint.

Materials (Basel)

November 2024

College of Architecture and Civil Engineering, Beijing University of Technology, Beijing 100124, China.

High-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipelines are extensively utilized in energy transportation in the ocean. However, long-term exposure to water can alter the performance of HDPE, potentially leading to pipeline accidents. This study focuses on simulating the aging characteristics of PE100 polyethylene pipeline butt-fusion welded joints (B-FWJs) in water using hydrothermal accelerated aging experiments at various temperature gradients.

Stress granules (SGs) are highly dynamic micromolecular membraneless condensates that generate in cells subjected to stress. Formed from pools of untranslating messenger ribonucleoproteins (RNP), SGs dynamics constitute vital processes essential for cell survival. Here, we investigate whether established cytotoxic agents, such as the platinum-based chemotherapeutic agent cisplatin and the aminoglycoside antibiotic gentamicin, elicit SG formation in the House Ear Institute-Organ of Corti-1 (HEI-OC1) auditory cell line, H4 human neuroglioma cells and HEK-293T human embryonic kidney cells.

Study on the hydrolysis characteristics of polymeric aluminum chloride forced by fine bubbles and its key factors affecting the efficiency and capacity of forcing hydrolysis.

Water Res

January 2025

School of Environmental and Municipal Engineering, Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology, Xi'an 710055, China; Key Laboratory of Northwest Water Resources, Environment and Ecology, Ministry of Education, Xi'an 710055, China. Electronic address:

Article Synopsis
  • * The study demonstrated how fine bubbles can influence the hydrolysis process of PACl under varying conditions, utilizing changes in aluminum species to enhance coagulation efficiency.
  • * Experimental findings indicated that fine bubble characteristics, such as mass transfer efficiency and concentration, significantly impact their ability to improve PACl hydrolysis and, subsequently, the removal of organic pollutants from water.

Electronic address:

Recent advancements in tumor immunotherapy, particularly PD-1 targeted therapy, have shown significant promise, marking major progress in tumor treatment approaches. Despite this, the development of resistance to therapy and mechanisms of immune evasion by tumors pose considerable obstacles to the broad application of immunotherapy. This necessitates a deeper exploration of complex immune signaling pathways integral to tumor immunity.
