Circadian Proteomics Reassesses the Temporal Regulation of Metabolic Rhythms by Chlamydomonas Clock.

Plant Cell Environ

Department of Biology, Trivedi School of Biosciences, Ashoka University, Sonipat, India.

Circadian clocks execute temporal regulation of metabolism by modulating the timely expression of genes. Clock regulation of mRNA synthesis was envisioned as the primary driver of these daily rhythms. mRNA oscillations often do not concur with the downstream protein oscillations, revealing the importance to study protein oscillations.

Background/aim: Despite the donor-exchange program implementation for highly sensitized (HS) patients, no improvement in waiting list in those HS patients with 100% calculated panel reactive of antibodies (cPRA) is observed. Recently, it has been published the treatment with imlifidase in desensitization algorithm. However, there are low-risk strategies to reduce cPRA.

Electron microscopy (EM) techniques have been crucial for understanding the structure of biological specimens such as cells, tissues and macromolecular assemblies. Viruses and related viral assemblies are ideal targets for structural studies that help to define essential biological functions. Whereas conventional EM methods use chemical fixation, dehydration, and staining of the specimens, cryogenic electron microscopy (cryo-EM) preserves the native hydrated state.

Introduction: Brucellosis and Rift Valley fever (RVF) are neglected zoonotic diseases (NZD) that threaten public health, animal health, and production in resource-limited countries including Namibia.

Methods: The objective of this cross-sectional study was to determine spp. and RVFV seroprevalence in cattle at the wildlife-livestock interface in the Kabbe South constituency (Zambezi region) of Namibia.
