Spontaneous cervical swelling syndrome is a rare, benign, and recurrent condition, most commonly affecting middle-aged women. Although its etiology is not fully understood, it is thought to be associated with intermittent occlusion of the thoracic duct, caused by increased pressure in the head and neck region. It occurs as an acute, limited swelling of the left supra-clavicular region and regresses, in most cases, spontaneously, in less than a week.

Objective: Abnormal levels and imbalances of T cell subsets are common in recurrent spontaneous abortion (RSA) patients, but most studies have small sample sizes, and comprehensive evaluations are lacking. Therefore, this meta-analysis aimed to comprehensively investigate T cell subsets and their ratios in RSA patients.
Methods: Four databases (PubMed, EMBASE, Web of Science, and Cochrane Library databases) were searched until 10 January 2024.

Aseptic splenic abscesses are rare in the early phases of Crohn's disease and are typically reported in patients with longstanding illness or uncontrolled symptoms despite medical treatment. We present a case of recurrent aseptic splenic abscesses in a young man newly diagnosed with Crohn's disease, whose illness remained well-controlled. This unique case raises questions regarding the spontaneous resolution of aseptic splenic abscesses without steroid therapy and their recurrence without acute Crohn's disease flare-ups.

We report a case of small bowel perforation from ileo-ileal intussusception with necrotising enterocolitis (NEC) after indomethacin exposure mimicking spontaneous intestinal perforation in an extremely preterm neonate. Indomethacin exposure can cause mesenteric hypoperfusion, resulting in an ischaemic lead point for intussusception and NEC. We advocate that intussusception should be considered as one of the differentials for neonates with recurrent feeding intolerance postindomethacin exposure.

A retrospective cohort study was conducted on patients who underwent ICE-guided "one-stop" procedures at the Department of Cardiology, General Hospital of Northern Theater Command between December 2020 and January 2023. Patients were divided into elderly group (age≥60 years old) and non-elderly group (age 18-59 years old).
